different

Todd and I have each lived in 4 states now. Each one unique. Each one has it's own differences. Here are some that I have learned about Michigan so far:

- squirells are black

- pop is called pop

- a flashing red traffic light means go

- you pretty much can't turn left when driving ... instead you go straight and then make a u-turn then turn right (yup, that doesn't make sense to us either)

-you get paid for recycling (we learned a little late the difference between recycleables and returnables)

- cars can be used as decorations

- there's no such thing as interstates, but expressways

we'll keep you updated on any more we notice!

What? Those people that live in Michigan sound a little funny :-)
Flasing red lights means go? Cars can be decorations? Watch out STL in Summer 2009 ... Kelly and Todd are returning with new and "different" ideas of life :)
ha!

It's funny that you posted differences about MI because Justin and I talk about all the differences here in St. Louis from the places we have lived. It is quite fun to make a list and compare. :-) We are switching lives for the next year- enjoy!
