Hey all! I preached my first sermon here on Sunday ... we have two services that day, and then one on Monday evening. So it feels good to have a little pulpit time under my belt (/alb).
Good job on the first sermon! Thank you to the church tech-guy...I love how that the sermons are posted on-line! Next thing you know you'll be on podcast! :) Watch out world! And plus this way if you tell any embarassing stories about your lovely sister, I'll know about it! *wink* ha ha
When you told me you were preaching on Jesus walking on water, I had thought it was the story of when the disciple walked on water. Then on Sunday when the Gospel was being read, I wondered if you had the same text reading we did. You do--I was just mixed up. Again, nice work--I'm sure that your awesome sermon writing skills were an unexpected delight of the congregation! :)

I wonder what the children sermon was like? Was it a demonstration?! HA HA...ha.
Enough jokes aside, I believe you mean to say that it feels good to have some pulpit time under your cincture.
