Recently married, recently moved, recently began the last year of Sem, and recently became parents. In other words, life is full of caffeinated adventures; check back often to hear about them!
not a big deal, but it really does drive me crazy!
Anyone out there know why the numbers on a phone are different from the numbers on your computer's keypad? Anyone?! This drives me insane. Especially when I'm at work, entering data and calling people at the same time.
To be honest ... you are the first person to point that out to me. I agree with Mel ... they did it to confuse people and to keep us on our toes. Some do say it takes talent to multitask.
Hm....similar to why we park in a drive way and drive on a park way. If you have a list of questions going, add that one, or you could google the question....maybe I will. Thanks for the brain teaser. Maybe I'll ask my students.
Well thanks, Justin, for your research ... it makes me feel a LITTLE better. I see this as one of those things that only makes me stronger in life. Rising up against the face of adversity. Wow. Someone should write a book about this. Or not. Maybe more like a Mo Willams book.

I am not sure sure you actually wanted an answer, but here is a link that discusses the conundrum.

I am not sure who is more of a nerd; Todd for considering something so odd, or myself for finding an answer to Todd's inquiry.
J. Smith...I am impressed.
You found the answer!
PS. You both are equally nerdy

I suggest the title, "Don't let the Pigeon (i.e. the weird office worker) obsess over keypad layouts!"
Or "Don't Let the Pigeon Dial the Phone While Typing Numbers!"
Hmm...
Someone should suggest those two titles if they ever meet Mo Willams
